Step-free bus stops

By 2023 at the latest, existing buildings and facilities as well as public-transport vehicles must be equipped in accordance with the Federal Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against People with Disabilities. Obstacle-free access also applies to the design and furnishing of bus stops.

During the preparation of the preliminary project, different variants were examined in close cooperation with the client, and the best variant was worked out in detail. Great importance was also attached to pedestrian crossings and pedestrian safety.
